The New Talgenori Empire

Relations with the Nation of Andorria

On the whole, the Empire maintains a good solid relationship with the Andorrians. Both sides conduct ready trade with each other, and both sides have shed blood in defending the other against nordling and orcish raids. If anything there is a great deal of trust in Andorria because the Empire lacks a true navy in the north. At times it seems that Andorria is all that stands between them and the tender mercies of nordling raiders.

Relations with the Principality of Galimond

By and large, the relation between Galimond and the Empire; is at a tense neutrality right now. While they are good trade partners, the Empire has begun to eye their river properties. Thus far the main extent of the fighting has been patrols skirmishing with each other before pulling back. It is only a matter of time however, before the Empire properly musters a large raid.

Relations with the Nation of Kronslund

Relations with Kronslund are decidedly neutral. On the whole, the Empire has no experience with fighting them. They also do not know much about their current state of affairs. However records are known of their past, which is the lens they look upon them with.

Relations with the Sovereign Realm of Aesmoor

Overall, relations of Aesmoor have decidedly taken a turn for the worse. Aesmoor has recently become quite vocal about their condemnation of imperial- dwarf relations. For quite a long time now the Empire had been embargoed by the Aesmoori, but many in the warrior caste feel that a line was been crossed when the Aesmoori launched several raids into Imperial territory to wreck dwarven assets. Retaliatory raids were conducted and now heavy skirmishing has erupted across their southern borders. Undoubtedly relations will keep souring should things continue to go in this direction.

The Nation of Andorria

Relations with the New Talgenori Empire

As the Empire views Andorria with a favourable light, so too does Andorria view the Empire with a favourable light. This view comes from both blood being shed together, as well as trade. It should also be said that Andorria is perhaps the only one amongst all the other kingdoms who understand the blood that the Empire spills to keep the orcish hordes at bay along the West Wall Mountains.

Relations with the Principality of Galimond

All in all, Andorria maintains a reasonably neutral trade agreement with Galimond. In general that is usually the farthest extent of their actions. Recently though, Galimond has begun increasing taxes. Andorria is not a rich nation, and this economic bullying seems to have come out of nowhere. Thus far though, no military reprisal has materialised from Andorria.

Relations with the Nation of Kronslund

By and large, relations with Kronslund tend to be on the friendlier side. They respect Kronslund’s views, but worry that they are not handling the dangers in their homeland in the correct manner. The main trade that Andorria partakes in with Kronslund is that of horses.

Relations with the Sovereign Realm of Aesmoor

Relations with Aesmoor are more definitely on the neutral side. The main contact they have is the trade that they conduct with each other. However in terms of military actions, Aesmoor is too far away for any non-organized raid. The stance that Aesmoor has taken, and especially how they’ve treated others has given Andorria reason to be concerned though.

Relations with the Annexed State of Valksbourg

Relations with the Valksbourgers are quite poor at the moment. Despite famously riding to their aid during the period of warring states, that spirit of clemency and generosity has largely disappeared in today’s generation. Nowadays due to the relative poverty of those who live in that annexed state, they are almost treated as second class citizens. How much longer the Valksbourgers will put up with this though, no one knows.

The Principality of Galimond

Relations with the New Talgenori Empire

In general, relations with the Empire are a little tense. In past years, they have largely been a good source of trade for ores and dwarven goods. Recently though, they have become much concerned with the recent skirmishing. The Empire has never before started engaging Galimond in this way, and they would much rather talk out a peace with them as opposed to going to war.

Relations with the Nation of Andorria

By and large, the extent of interaction that Galimond has with Andorria is simply a trade agreement. However in retaliation to the Empire’s aggression, Prince Nathaniel has rashly decided to antagonize the Andorrians by increasing the trade taxes. Many on the king’s council has tried to dissuade him from this course of action but thus far none have succeeded.

Relations with the Nation of Kronslund

Ties with Kronslund are roughly in good shape. Kronslund is a large importer of Galimondand goods, and they have a long history of supporting each other in minor wars since the formation of the pact of three kings. Recently though, Galimond has started to become more and more worried about the disproportionate amount of military power that Kronslund has in comparison to its allies.

Relations with the Sovereign Realm of Aesmoor

Relations with Aesmoor are strained at the moment. Previously a prolific trader with Galimond, they started souring the relationship by ceasing trade with Galimond due to their involvement with non humans. More recently a string of riots and raids have rocked the settled non-human areas in many Galimondan towns. It is suspected that Aesmoor has had a hand in this, but they have yet to claim responsibility for these despicable actions.

The Nation of Kronslund

Relations with the New Talgenori Empire

As with the Empire’s view of Kronslund, the Kronsmen generally share the same view of the Empire. Simply, the Empire is too far away for them to properly do anything about, but if anything what they’ve heard has generally been agreeable with their knightly ideals. They do find the caste system fairly odd though.

Relations with the Nation of Andorria

Relations with Andorria are generally fairly neutral. The main extent of their interaction is generally trade. The Kronsmen do respect the Andorrian views, but they have some concern over how they are treating the conquered Valksbourgers.

With the Principality of Galimond

Kronslund interacts with Galimond on very friendly terms. Trade with them is largely seen as a positive agreement. Feasts and celebrations require many things; things that Kronslund is happy to import from Galimond. More recently though, a worry has started nagging the Kronsmen about how far the decadence has gone in Galimond, but they see little possibility of stopping the corruption.

With the Sovereign Realm of Aesmoor

Unfortunately ties with the Aesmoori have become strained in recent years. Their stance on non-humans has become more and more offensive to the Kronsmen. Despite their stance though, trade is still being conducted between these two nations.

The Sovereign Realm of Aesmoor

Relations with the New Talgenori Empire

At best their relation to the Empire is strained. At worst, they are courting the onset of war. Aesmoor has launched several raids aimed at disrupting non-human areas. Naturally their disgust at all non-humans is the root of this. To top it all off, when the Empire sent retaliatory raids, they were fully prepared to see them off, a fact which has not eluded the Empire.

Relations with the Nation of Andorria

In general, Andorria is only a trade partner. No other interactions or aggression is directed their way for they have no major dealings with non-humans.

Relations with the Principality of Galimond

Before Aesmoor and Galimond could’ve been seen as friendly with each other, in more recent times though Aesmoor has embargoed Galimond for their heinous dealings with non-humans. As if that wasn’t enough, those foul Galimondans even decided to blame Aesmoor for the riots and raids that have broken out! As much as the Aesmoori would like to take credit though, they have denied all of it.

Relations with the Nation of Kronslund

By and large, Kronslund is also mostly a trading partner only with Aesmoor. The Aesmoori do not care at all that the Kronsmen have expressed their disgust at their views, what matters, is that Aesmoor is on the right path.
